Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Yoga Social is powered by a growing community of passionate local teachers dedicated to creating supportive, high-quality yoga experiences. One of the most beautiful parts of yoga is that every teacher brings their own unique style, background, personality, and perspective—so we encourage you to explore different classes and instructors to find what resonates with you.
All of our classes are all-levels friendly. Teachers offer layered cues and options—from beginner to advanced—so each student can meet their body where it’s at, feel appropriately challenged, and continue growing their practice.

Shannon Chalmers
Founder/Teacher/Owner of Denver Yoga Social

Shannon Founded Denver Yoga Social on the basis of bringing yoga directly to the community. Pairing with local Businesses to bring you more than a yoga class, but an experience. A place you can go and meet new people, a place we can go to to enjoy our community & unite with others.

Shannon came to yoga from a Ballet & contemporary dance backround. In 2016 She completed her first RYT Teacher Training - from there she has taught from Boston - > Milwaukee - > Denver. She believes that every body type is a yoga body. Shannons classes are fun & upbeat. Easily accessible for the beginning yogi, with options that will even challenge some of the more advanced yogi.

Wether you are brand new to yoga, or have been practicing a life time. Be prepared to smile, laugh, & even dance a little during class.

Marco DiFerreira
Teacher

Marco was exposed to yoga at a very early age when his dad was trying to quit smoking and look him along. Since then, yoga has helped him to be more in touch with the world and the idea of always evolving to discover the joys and mysteries of life.
Through the movements and practice of yoga, Marco was able to experience the healing
powers of yoga, which allowed him to avoid back, neck and knee surgery due to injuries.
Being also a musician, he brings his artistic passion to the ancient practice.
Marco believes that yoga is much more than uniting mind, soul and body. Yoga is a lifestyle to be practiced and learned on and off the mat. It keeps us present in the moment every time we remember to breathe.
As we advance in our yoga practice, we increase our sense of community, compassion, inner peace and joy. By incorporating his own live music in class during shavasana, Marco strives to inspire his
students and infuse their practice with creative energy.
